01 — The challenge

Where it started.

Adding sales people and agents to the existing ERP meant buying and wiring together a further set of third-party tools, each with its own cost and its own login.

Orders were being placed without a dependable view of what was actually in stock, because the stock lived in Navision and the ordering did not.

02 — What we built

The work itself.

One place to run sales. A cloud application that carries sales, agents and order placement together, rather than a tool per function.

Orders written against Navision. Inventory read from Microsoft Navision at the point of ordering, so an order is placed against real stock rather than a stale copy.

A dashboard over the same data. Aggregated figures and visualisation built on the integrated data, so operations and sales look at one version of it.

03 — Results

What the client has now.

Third-party tooling costs removed by bringing the functions into one console. Indent requests tracked, managed and fulfilled in the same system that raises them. Decisions made against current figures rather than yesterday’s export.
