01 — The challenge

Where it started.

Field sales and service representatives were not matched to customers by location or by the service actually needed, so the wrong person was often assigned.

Sales, marketing and customer service worked from separate systems, and the installation process absorbed the resulting gaps.

02 — What we built

The work itself.

A mobile app for the people on site. Role assignment and customer meetings handled where the work happens.

A React portal over the same data. Built in React for component reuse across the two, so the portal and the app do not drift apart.

Chakra UI. A component library, so a consistent interface did not need building from nothing.

Redux Toolkit for the API layer. Store configuration and API integration handled through one convention rather than per screen.

Holiday management in the assignment. Appointments assigned against real availability rather than against an assumed calendar.

03 — Results

What the client has now.

Representatives tied to the right customers by location and service need. Real-time dashboards per role, including standing across offices. Admin oversight of meetings and users in one portal, with notifications on activity. Installation shortened, and the operating cost with it.
