01 — The challenge

Where it started.

Data arrived from several systems and there was no consolidated view of it, so predictive analysis was not possible and ordinary decisions were made on partial figures.

The raw data existed; what was missing was any way to look at all of it at once.

02 — What we built

The work itself.

Power BI, after an evaluation. Chosen against the alternatives for this client’s sources and reporting needs rather than by default.

Several sources, one view. The separate feeds brought together so a figure can be read once instead of reconciled by hand.

Reports pulled in a few clicks. Extraction built for the people making the decisions rather than for an analyst queue.

English and Japanese. Both languages supported in the same dashboard, since the audience is split across them.

03 — Results

What the client has now.

Trends and patterns surfaced that were not visible in the raw data. Decisions taken from a consolidated view rather than from one system at a time. Reports extracted directly by the people who need them.
